The real kicker? The pastor who helped orchestrate the attack on the couple is the father of one of the men assaulted. That’s right pastor Jerry Pittman Sr. called upon his deacons to help assault his own son and partner to keep them from entering the church. Around 20 member of the congregation stood around and watched as the deacons assaulted the young men and yelled homophobic slurs at them. Initially when the police showed up they were not even going to allow the two young men who were assaulted to even press charges. And those who consider themselves only moderately religious really need to look in the mirror and realize that the solace and comfort that religion brings you actually comes at a terrible price.

This girl honestly makes me sick. I can’t believe that someone can be so vile and reprehensible, and then revel in it. This woman is one of the worst example of humanity and “Christian” nature you can possibly imagine. Many people have seen the pictures taken from the Fox News page showing death threats and other reprehensible remarks directed at Atheists. One of those most shocking, I believe, is Sindy Clock and her comment pictured above.

I happened to notice a comment from someone wondering if the users who posted these horrible message were suspended or had their pages deleted for violating the terms of service. So I got a little curious and decided to look up Sindy, since I found hers the most inflammatory. My jaw literally dropped when I saw her URL. She is proud of what she said? Not only is she proud, she wants to display it and remind everyone of it openly? This is supposedly a good moral Christian? Makes me even more glad to be an Atheist, I’d be absolutely ashamed to be in any way associated with her.
